Gostisa Turns the Nuts to Double-Up

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Robert Correa opened to 16,000 in early position and was called by Andre Akkari on his left. Leo Zamarripa came along from the small blind but Rok Gostisa three-bet to 83,000 from the big blind. Correa folded but both Akkari and Zamarripa called.

The flop fell {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Gostisa continued with a bet of 80,000. Akkari got out of the way and Zamarripa quickly called to see the {8-Clubs} on the turn.

Zamarripa checked again and Gostisa counted out a bet of 200,000 this time. Zamarripa called and the {6-Hearts} completed the board. Zamarripa checked for the third time and Gostisa shoved all in for 296,000. Zamarripa asked for a count and then called.

Gostisa turned over {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for the nut straight and Zamarripa flashed the {10-Hearts} before his cards hit the muck.
