Smith Survives Again
Level 24
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Dan Smith has found himself all in and at risk several times already today and each time has managed to avoid elimination. Vikenty Shegal opened to 100,000 in the cutoff and was called by Chris Da Silva on the button. Dan Smith then moved all in for 685,000 out of the small blind and Shegal responded by re-jamming. Da Silva got out of the way and Smith was officially at risk.

It was a classic flip with Smith's tournament life on the line. The flop kept Shegal ahead, prompting Smith to get to his feet. The turn handed Smith broadway and ensured he would get the full double prior to the meaningless river. "Standing up always does it," remarked Smith as he retook his seat.
