Another 6-handed event of the 2023 World Series of Poker begins at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas with Event #15: $1,500 6-Handed No-Limit Hold’em.

Action will be the name of the game for today. With only six players at each table, this tournament should be exciting to follow. The defending champion is Leo Soma from France, who won $456,889 in 2022. He has already been spotted in Las Vegas and will definitely be back to defend his title.

Soma overcame a stacked final table in 2022 when he defeated Thomas Schultz heads-up. The final table also featured familiar players like Ivan Zhechev and the 2009 Main Event champion Joe Cada.

Cards will be in the air at 10 a.m. local time and players begin Day 1 with 25,000 chips. Blinds start at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante and levels are 40 minutes, with a 20-minute break after every three levels. A 75-minute dinner break is also on the schedule after Level 12, which is expected to be around 7 p.m. They will play 17 levels today, with late registration possible until the end of Level 9 and the following break. This should be around 5 p.m.

With record-breaking fields for almost every tournament, this event's expectation is no different. Be sure to stay tuned to PokerNews for full coverage of this one as we begin the road to crowning another champion at the World Series Of Poker.
