There was an open under the gun to 1,300 and action folded to former Main Event Champion, Greg "Fossilman" Raymer, in middle position. Raymer took his time and eventually opted to put in the cold three bet to 3,500. The action folded all the way back to the original raiser who made the call.

The 5?4?10? flop landed and the under the gun player checked. Raymer thought for only a moment before announcing a bet of 3,500. That was all it took and the under the gun player made the fold, giving Raymer some momentum early on.
