Thorpe was all in for around 35,000 on the turn with the board showing 2?Q?3?K? and had Q?Q?A?10? for a Broadway straight. Muir turned over 6?4?5?7? for a straight draw.
The river came the J? and Thorpe doubled up.
"Just a queen would've been good," a tablemate told Thorpe.
"I didn't know that. PLO is my absolute worst game," Thorpe responded.
