McLaughlin Gets The Last Laugh
Table #192 called PokerNews over to explain a story of tilt.
On a board reading 6?4?3?, Adam McLaughlin bet 2,000 and was quickly raised to 5,600 by the player in position. McLaughlin responded to that by going all in for about 23,000 and his opponent made the call.
Adam McLaughlin: Q?5?
Late Position: 3?4?
The late position player had flopped two-pair and McLaughlin had a straight draw to go along with his flush draw. He didn't have to wait long to catch up when the 2? rolled off on the turn for the straight and when the 9? rolled off on the river for the flush.
The late position player was left with only 1,600 to which he said, "Fuck it, I'm out of here." He proceeded to leave the tournament area and left his stack to be blinded out. It's unclear what his plans are for the rest of the day.
