Day 1b of the first mystery bounty event of the 2023 World Series of Poker, Event #3: $1,000 Mystery Millions, is here and is guaranteed to provide plenty of entertainment at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

With three flights remaining, the field will only continue growing, as Day 1a saw 2,023 entrants compete, with 102 making it to Day 2. With the all-important mystery bounties kicking in on Day 2, players are hoping to build a big stack so they are in a position to acquire bounties in the latter days. The potential value of those bounties is huge, especially when considering that with enough entries, two $1,000,000 bounties will be up for grabs, along with a guaranteed $1,000,000 for first place.

There have already been some big names join in the event, such as WNBA Champion Kelsey Plum, renowned Australian Comedian Jim Jefferies, and 2006 WSOP Main Event winner Jamie Gold. Day 1b will continue that trend, growing in size and notoriety.

Anyone wanting to make a charge at the overall chip lead needs to finish Day 1b with more than 2,750,000 chips, the impressive total Francis Anderson crammed into an overnight chip bag on Day 1a.

Cards will be in the air at 10 a.m. local time and players begin Day 1b with 40,000 chips. Blinds start at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. The levels for all opening flights are 30 minutes, with a 20-minute break at the conclusion of every four levels. Expected around 7 p.m. is a 75-minute dinner break allowing players to relax for a while before the event resumes. The day consists of 22 levels of play and late registration closes after Level 12.

Two more starting flights take place on June 2 and June 3, with all survivors returning for Day 2 on June 4th. Although players are limited to one reentry per flight, determined players could continue registering for a total of six bullets over the next three days.

Be sure to stay tuned to PokerNews for full coverage of this potentially life-changing event as we continue on the road to the lucky million-dollar bounties and crowning another champion at the World Series Of Poker.
