Damm Healthy Again After Two Doubles
Josh Damm was all in and short against John Monnette when he made 8x6x5x4x2x against Monnette's draw to 6x5x4x2x and Monnette paired his six on the final draw. That gave him one double up and the following hand gave him a much larger one.
Damm raised in the small blind and got three-bet by Christopher Chung in the big blind. Damm called and then drew two while Chung only needed one.
Damm then check-called a bet from Chung and each player drew one on the second pull.
Damm then checked and again Chung bet. Damm now check-raised, leaving himself just 10,000 chips behind.
Chung thought for a bit but then made the call and drew one after Damm stood pat.
Damm flicked in his last two T-5,000 chips, and while it appeared he had no chance of winning, Chung called the minuscule bet to see Damm's 10x8x6x5x4x, which was indeed the winner to boost Damm back well over a million chips.
