On a board reading 9?J?Q?7?, Matthew Parry checked and faced a bet of 300,000 from Benjamin Voreland. Parry called.

The river brought he 4? and Parry checked again. This time Voreland bet to a tune of 900,000. This caused Parry to spend more time on his decision, flashing glances at the young Norwegian to his left. Eventually he made the call and Voreland showed 10?10?3?5? which appeared to be a bluff based on the blockers to the straight. Voreland showed Q?Q?6?Xx and won the pot with top set.

Yet another correct river decision pushed Parry further up in the counts, increasing his chip lead.
