William Rector Eliminated in 12th Place ( $16,028)
Matthew Beinner opened the action with a raise in late positon to 175,000 and was called by Antonin Teisseire on the button, as well as William Rector in the big blind. The dealer spread J?5?7? and Rector checked, Beinner checked, and Teisseire placed a pot sized bet.
Rector made the call for less and Beinner got out of the way saying, "Well, I'm sure one of you had a good hand, I fold."
Cards were on their backs and Rector was at risk.
William Rector: A?Q?7?7?
Antonin Teisseire: Q?10?9?8?
Rector had flopped a set of sevens and Teisseire had an inside wrap. The turn converted Teisseire to the full wrap with the K?. Rector requested that the dealer pair the board on the river but they didn't oblige, instead peeling the 6? which was one of the many card that made Teisseire a straight.
PokerNews had a brief moment to chat with Rector and he said he'd been coming to the WSOP since 2006. He works in real estate and usually just comes out for a couple weeks, which is the case this time as well. He has little interest in no limit hold'em and is happy playing any of the other games.
