Clements Calls Off With a Ten

Level 23 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Ian Steinman had already managed to double up during the No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw round when he made a 10 before Scott Clements got the rest of his chips in the middle.

Ryutaro Suzuki opened to 50,000 and Clements called on the button, as did Steinman in the big blind.

Steinman took two, while Clements and Suzuki both drew one. Suzuki now fired out 150,000 and Clements called for his last 142,000. Steinman folded.

"Nines," Suzuki said as he tabled 9x9x.

Clements tapped the felt and prepared to make his exit before realizing Suzuki meant he had a pair of nines. Clements instead turned over a 10-8 as he doubled up.
