Kessler Hits Quads to Take Out Glaser
Level 7
No-Limit Hold'em
Allen Kessler won't have much to complain about after busting Benny Glaser in his last hand.
Glaser raised to 3,400 from the cutoff, leaving himself just one 100 chip behind. Kessler called in the small blind, as did the big blind.
The flop came 8?J?6? and Kessler led out for 4,500. The big blind folded and Kessler turned over his J?J? for top set without realizing Glaser was not all in yet. Glaser reluctantly tossed in his last chip and turned over A?5?.
The J? on the turn ended the hand as Kessler wound up with quads. The inconsequential river was the 5? and Glaser was sent to the rail.
"I thought you were going to do something crazy," Kessler told the big blind after the hand.
