Wagner Out Front on Day 2 of Event #38: $10,000 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Championship
Welcome to Day 2 of Event #38: $10,000 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Championship here at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Of the 45 remaining players, Michael Wagner enters Day 2 as the chip leader after bagging 284,000 in chips last night.
Wagner will have some stiff competition in the pursuit of his first bracelet, however, as just behind him in the counts is five-time WSOP bracelet winner Adam Friedman (279,000) and three-time bracelet winner Ryan Leng (273,000) along with several other poker talents looking to claim a piece of WSOP glory.
Incredibly, Friedman has won a bracelet at the WSOP every year since 2018, (not including 2020 as the World Series of Poker was held online). A win in this event would be his first bracelet in a 2-7 Lowball event and add to his $4 million in career tournament earnings to date.

Cards will be back in the air at 1 p.m. local time on Level 11, which features 2,000/4,000 blinds and 4,000/8,000 limits. Levels will last 90-minutes each and play will conclude for the day after seven levels have been played. A ten-minute break will be held after each level and players will get a 60-minute dinner break at the conclusion of Level 14 (~7:30 p.m.)
Late registration will remain open until the start of play today and several more notables are expected to sit down with fresh, albeit short, stacks in hopes of quickly running them up.
