Neiman Doubles Up with Straight Flush
“Straight Flush!” a player yelled across the room. “I hit a straight flush.”
As PokerNews arrived at the table, 4?5?6?9?8? was in the middle and at least three players were standing taking photos of the board.
An excited Phil Neiman had 7?5? in front of him, while his opponent had 8?7? showing, he flopped the nut straight, which Neiman vanquished on the river.
The dealer was pushing the pot to Neiman as he turned to explain the action.
According to Neiman, there was three-way action after the flop. A player in front of Neiman bet 3,200 and then Neiman said he raised to 15,000 on his combination draws. The player to his immediate left, who flopped the nut straight, then went all in, Neiman said.
It was an easy call for Neiman, who had multiple outs with his combination draw. His excitement showed with a large smile.
