Marcos Exterkotter on the button had made it 2,000,000 to go preflop and was called only by Nicholas Gerrity in the big blind.

The flop came out 8?9?2? and Gerrity checked to Exterkotter who continued for 1,500,000. But then Gerrity put in a check-raise to 3,200,000 and the action was back on Exterkotter who paused for a few moments before he made the call.

The turn came the K? and both players checked through to see the 2? on the river. Gerrity then led out for 6,800,000 and Exterkotter went into the tank briefly before announcing he was all in. Gerrity then snap-called and flipped over 2?2? for rivered quads and the entire table gasped. Exterkotter then defeatedly tossed in his 10?7? for a missed straight bluff and he was eliminated from the tournament.
