Dzivielevski Leads Stacked Field Heading into Day 3

Gershon Distenfeld
Gershon Distenfeld

Welcome to Day 3 of Event #47: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. here at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas home of the World Series of Poker. Yuri Dzivielevski enters Day 3 with a solid chip lead over the remaining 28 players after bagging 2,020,000 last night.

His next closest competitor is Stephen Savoy (1,345,000) followed closely by poker philanthropist Gershon Distenfeld (1,300,000), who has pledged to donate all his earnings to charity, including 10 percent to The Charity Series of Poker (CSOP).

The rest of field is rife with poker talent, however, ensuring that any path to the gold bracelet will come with plenty of challenges. Among those still in contention include bracelet winners Andrew Barber (950,000), Randy Ohel (805,000), Denis Nesterenko (845,000), and multi-bracelet winners Frankie O'Dell (905,000) and Anson Tsang (440,000).
