Following a fan vote, the 10 finalists have been disclosed for the 2023 Poker Hall of Fame, and the list of nominees is mostly similar to last year.

Nine Players Return to Battle on Unscheduled Day 2 of Event #49: $1,500 Super Turbo Bounty

It's time for an unscheduled Day 2 in Event #49: $1,500 Super Turbo Bounty with nine players returning to Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas at 2 p.m. PDT to play down to a winner. The tournament attracted 2,226 entries to generate a prize pool of $1,858,710.

"Papo MC" is coming back to the 2023 World Series of Poker as the runaway chip leader today. The Argentinian rapper Alejandro Lococo bagged 15,550,000 last night and is looking to claim his first bracelet after finishing in seventh place in the 2021 Main Event. Trailing him in second place at the start of the day is Will Linden with 8,850,000, followed by Chen An Lin with 7,700,000.

Joining them on the final table are Danny Scott, Michael Burns, Tony Gargano, Pengfei Wang, Kenneth Maurer, and Frank Lagodich.

Play will start with the remaining nine minutes that were left in Level 33, which features a small blind of 150,000, a big blind of 300,000, and an ante of 300,000. The nine finalists are all guaranteed at least $23,978, but will be looking to claim the first-place prize of $270,700 and the WSOP bracelet that comes with it, plus some more $500 bounties. The level duration will remain 20 minutes each, with a break scheduled after every six levels.
