Shimelfarb and Zyrin each took two on the first draw while Pupillo stood pat. Pupillo then bet, getting a fold from Zyrin.
On the second draw Shimelfarb again took two with Pupillo once more standing pat.
The final draw saw Shimelfarb take one more card and Pupillo again decline to draw. Pupillo then tabled Q?9?2?A? with Shimelfarb showing down 4?3?2?. Shimelfarb could not find a spade on his fourth card, instead peeling the A? and bringing his deep run to an end in 12th place.
