Seven Card Stud

Scott Seiver: XxXx/3?5?6?4?/Xx
Connor Drinan: XxXx/4?3?6?8?/Xx

Following a raise on third street, Connor Drinan proceeded to bet on both fifth and sixth streets.

Seiver called both bets down to seventh where Drinan checked. Seiver checked behind and Drinan turned over A?10?10? for a pair of tens.

A visibly frustrated Seiver flashed 10?9? before mucking as he is now on an extreme short stack.

Taylor Takes a Few From Hellmuth

Level 20 : Limits 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold 'em

Following a raise from Esther Taylor in the cutoff, Phil Hellmuth defended his big blind.

Hellmuth then led out on the 9?8?2? flop. Taylor called and the dealer put the 6? out on the turn.

Again, Hellmuth bet and got a call from Taylor. On the A? river both players checked with Hellmuth declaring "eights."

Taylor showed her J?J? for a better pair of jacks and the win.

Hellmuth mucked his hand then let out one of his now trademark sigh-squawks before telling Taylor that he had jack-eight suited and that she had him really dead.

Livingston Makes a Big Fold, Then Cracks Aces

Level 20 : Limits 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Alex Livingston raised from the cutoff, Brian Yoon three-bet in the small blind, and Livingston called.

The flop came K?6?6? and Yoon continued with a bet. Livingston called, then called another bet on the K? turn.

The river came the 9? and Yoon bet again. Livingston tanked for about a minute before folding A?6?.

The next hand, Phil Hellmuth three-bet in the big blind and Livingston again called out of the hijack.

The flop came 4?8?A? and Livingston got his last chips in the middle. Hellmuth had A?A?J?7?, while Livingston had A?Q?5?3?.

The 7? turn and 6? river gave Livingston a straight and he doubled up.

"I feel better about the fold now that I doubled up," Livingston said.

Brad Ruben bet on fourth street before Scott Seiver raised. Connor Drinan called, as did Ruben.

Drinan bet on fifth with a pair of kings showing and Ruben folded. "Good game, guys," Seiver said as he called off his last chips.

Drinan turned over J?J?6? for two pair as Seiver caught 7?A?, then the 7? to make trip sevens.

Drinan peeled the 8? on seventh and handed over the double up.

"The good ole' good game, guys," Ruben said.

Omaha Sends Hellmuth Spiraling

Level 20 : Limits 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Omaha Hi-Lo

A pair of sizeable hands have recently gone the wrong way for Phil Hellmuth, cutting a sizeable chunk out of his stack.

First, picking action up on the river with several bets in the middle and a completed board of 7?9?K?8?2?, Hellmuth check-called a river bet from the small blind versus David "Bakes" Baker on the button to see his opponent show 8?6?5?4? for a nine-high straight and a low.

Hellmuth mucked his hand and said he'd "been waiting all day to get Baker when he got out of line". Unfortunately for the 16-time bracelet winner that chance didn't go his way.

Neither did a hand shortly after.

Hellmuth raised in the hijack and after a re-raise from Alex Livingston on the button, Esther Taylor and Brian Yoon came along as well from the small and big blinds respectively. Hellmuth called as well to set up a four-way flop.

It came Q?9?4? and after the blinds checked to Hellmuth, he bet and got raised by Livingston. Taylor and Yoon folded, leaving the pot heads-up.

On the 10? turn, Hellmuth check-called a bet from Livingston, then again on the 6? river.

Livingston showed A?Q?J?4? for two pair, queens and fours, while Hellmuth flashed his A?9?4?3? for two pair of nines and fours with a missed low draw.

Livingston on the Comeback Trail

Level 20 : Limits 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Razz

Alex Livingston: XxXx/6x9x7x4x/Xx
Roman Verenko: XxXx/6x3xAx9x/Xx
Esther Taylor: XxXx/5x5x8xQx -folded

Roman Verenko bet on fourth street and was called by both Alex Livingston and Esther Taylor.

Livingston took the lead on fifth and both opponents called. Another bet on sixth got rid of Taylor, but Verenko stuck around and called.

Livingston bet again on seventh and Verenko called. Livingston turned over Ax9x2x for 7-6-4-2-A and Verenko mucked.

Livingston, who came back from last break with just 300,000 and survived an all in, has now crossed 1,000,000.

Connor Drinan raised in the cutoff before Christopher Claassen three-bet on the button. Brad Ruben, in the big blind, put in a four-bet and both players called.

The flop came K?A?7? and Ruben continued with a bet. Claassen and Drinan both called to the 7? turn, where action checked around to Claassen.
