Kessler Rushes To Pay the Blind, Doubles Up
Level 13
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
As he moved from a recently broken table to his new seat at a new table, Allen Kessler noticed that the button placement would put him in the big blind his very first hand at the table.
Other players might not rush to their seat when they notice from a few tables away that they will be forced into the big blind immediately, but not Allen Kessler.
He rushed to his seat, paid his blinds, then got folded to on the button and shoved for around 40,000 and was met with an immediate re-shove from the small blind.
The big blind folded and set up a runout with Kessler's tournament at risk.
Allen Kessler: A?K?
Small Blind: J?J?
The board ran out A?3?5?3?10? and Kessler was rewarded for rushing to pay the blinds with a full double.
