Andorran, Hong Kong-based poker pro Ka Kwan Lau leads the way with a stack of 28,200,000 and is sitting in a great position to win his first WSOP gold bracelet. Known under his online moniker "kaju85", he is widely considered one of the best PLO tournament players around and came narrowly close to victory two years ago as he finished runner-up to Shaun Deeb in the same event. According to Hendon Mob, Lau has accrued more than $2.6 million in live poker events, and that also includes a 20th-place finish in the 2016 WSOP Main Event for $269,430.

Fellow Spanish-Speaker Sergio Martinez Gonzalez returns today with the second-highest chip count of 17,475,000 and this is already his biggest score to date as each player is already guaranteed a handsome payout of $505,588 for their performance in this event. His largest previous score was earlier this year at the EPT Paris back in February in the 5,200 Pot Limit Omaha where he finished 3rd for $67,431.

The third European of the group, Mads Amot of Norway, is coming back sitting third in chips with 11,850,000. His largest score before this one is a $65,280 payout from placing 3rd in a WPT $3,200 PLO online event.

The two Americans of the group, Roger Teska and Andjelko Andrejevic complete the remaining five with 6,400,000 and 3,425,000, respectively.

Teska is well-known in the high-roller poker world with over $3.4 million in earnings, with the bulk of that stemming from taking down the $25,500 NLH partypoker Millions event in the Bahamas in 2018.

Andrejevic also has an impressive track record with almost $ 4.5 million in live cashes with his best score back in 2015 when he finished first in an Asian Pacific Tour Super High Roller NL event for $1,125,722.
