Qutami Quietly Curtails
Just after being shown the quad fives of Yingui Li at showdown, Danny Qutami found himself in another crucial pot, only two hands later.
Daniel Young raised in late position and was called by Qutami in the big blind. Heads up, they saw saw a flop of J?10?9?. Both players checked and the dealer presented the 4?.
Qutami then took the initiative and bet, only to be met by the raise of Young. Qutami quickly called and together they saw the 2? peel on the river. Both players looked pained as they checked and Qutami was first to show the 4?5? for a flopped flush, dwarfed by the fourth heart on the river.
Young then showed the K?Q? for the third nut flush and mentioned that he actually didn't like the river card when it first fell.
Qutami managed to lose the minimum in two big spots against a rather cold deck.
