Yet another record-breaking event at the 2023 World Series of Poker has made Day 2, with Event #61: $1,000 Super Seniors No-Limit Hold��em set to have cards in the air at 10 a.m. local time to compete for a prestigious World Series of Poker gold bracelet and a sweet first prize of $371,603.

Heading into today as the chip leader is Kevin Durgin with 392,000, closely followed by Greg White with 384,000. Christian Guittier, who was in the chip lead for most of Day 1 returns with the third largest stack with 366,500.

There are several names that reached the final table in the Seniors event who have made Day 2 of the Super Seniors including runner-up Billy Baxter (84,000), Loren Cloninger (108,500), and Ron Fetsch (56,500). They are among the 808 players looking to at least secure the minimum cash of $1,600 for the top 469 players.

Play will resume at 10 a.m. local time in the Horseshoe Red and Blue sections, where they will start at Level 11 with the blinds at 1,000/2.000 and a big blind ante of 2,000. There are ten 60-minute levels scheduled, with a 15-minute break after every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 16.
