Dunbar Picks Up Aces Two Hands in a Row
Mark Dunbar raised to 65,000 on the button before the small blind shoved for 310,000. Dunbar called to put him at risk.
All-In Player: K?J?
Mark Dunbar: A?A?
Dunbar's opponent picked up several outs on the 8?J?9? flop with top pair and a flush draw but bricked the Q? turn and 9? river. "Thanks a lot. You couldn't put a diamond," he lamented while Dunbar raked in the pot.
Dunbar was still stacking his chips from this hand when Douglas Houghton raised to 75,000 in early position, then Dunbar three-bet to 200,000 in the cutoff.
Houghton called and both players checked the Q?7?10? flop. The turn came the 3? and Houghton pushed all in for around 400,000.
Dunbar snap-called and flipped over A?A? yet again. Houghton had J?J? and, while he made a flush on the 9? river, Dunbar's ace was the nut flush as he eliminated his second opponent in a row.
Another tablemate came over to rub Dunbar's stomach for good luck as he stacked up more than 2,000,000.
