Matakis And Lulov Double Through Szesci

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

After an open by Pedro Garagnani on the button, Ian Matakis in the small blind reraised to 370,000. But the action didn't come back directly to Garagnani, because Norbert Szecsi decided to four-bet to 2,550,000 from the big blind.

Garagnani quickly folded, but not Matakis, who moved all in for 2,690,000. Szecsi didn't have much to add, so he called.

Ian Matakis: A?J?
Norbert Szecsi: A?K?

In a very bad shape, Matakis was ready to leave on 5?8?Q?6?. However, luck was on his side as the river J? gave him a jack, completing his flush and giving him the best hand. His stack increased to 5,700,000.

A few hands later, it was Brandon Lulov's turn to go all in for 1,170,000 chips against Szesci.

Brandon Lulov: A?2?
Norbert Szecsi: Q?8?

With the best hand, Lulov had no problem winning the pot on J?A?4?K?3?. Like Matakis, he doubled up to 2,700,000. On the other hand, after these two pots, Szecsi was down to 7,400,000.
