Event #70: $400 The Colossus No-Limit Hold'em Day 1b Begins at 10 AM
The 2023 World Series of Poker welcomes a second set of combatants today for Day 1b of Event #70: $400 The Colossus No-Limit Hold'em at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
An incredible 7,705 entrants graced the Day 1a flight, with only 962 players advancing to Day 2. Notable players that failed to advance included Marle Spragg, Allen Cunningham, and Ben Yu.
Players that did find a bag include Olga Iermolcheva (1,125,000) and Benjamin Spragg (623,000.) They both trail Day 1a chip leader Chengtzu Lai, who bagged an impressive 1,456,000. Players joining them on Day 2 will continue to play for their part of the massive prize pool and a WSOP bracelet.

Cards will be in the air at 10 a.m. local time. Players begin with 40,000 chips and blinds at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Players will play for 17 levels of 40 minutes each and will receive a break every three levels. A 75-minute dinner break is scheduled after Level 12, which will come around 7 p.m. local time. Late registration will last until the end of Level 12 (about 8:15) and players will be allowed one reentry today if they have already busted.
