Just One Flop in Sight

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Ryan Rapaski raised to 125,000 and was called by Anton Smirnov in the big blind. The A?K?8? flop was checked by Smirnov and he then folded when Rapaski continued for 225,000, with the latter exposing the A?8?.

Three Quarters for Tran Against McNeil

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Long Tran
Long Tran

Calen McNeil raised to 85,000 from under the gun and Long Tran potted to 335,000 on the button. McNeil asked for his stack size to then announce all-in before he noticed that Ben Yu was still to act out of the big blind.

Yu reluctantly folded and the all-in of McNeil was confirmed as Tran called it off for 750,000 total.

Long Tran: A?A?Q?5?
Calen McNeil: A?A?J?10?

To make a long story short, both had a pair of aces on the 9?7?2?4?J? board and Tran also won the low as he earned three quarters of the pot.

"That is unfortunate," Canadian McNeil remarked.
