First Pot For Lewis
Level 5
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Philip Sternheimer opened from middle position, and everybody folded to Romain Lewis who defended his big blind.
The dealer fanned a flop of J?10?9?, and both players checked to see the turn 7?.
At this point, Lewis took the lead and bet 26,000. Sternheimer called, and the 4? came on the river.
Lewis bet again, but sized it up to 85,000. Sternheimer went in the tank and had to use a time bank before folding. Followed by a TV crew, Lewis took his first pot of the day.
A few hands later, Sternheimer has been eliminated, like Dario Sammartino before him.
