As the 2023 World Series Of Poker nears its close, Event #91: $3,000 H.O.R.S.E sees the final 18 players come back to play for the bracelet and the first place prize of $208,460. The popular mixed-game format saw a total of 331 players try their shot in this event, and before days end a new player will have a bracelet around their wrist.

Leading the way is Leonard August who ended the day with 1,926,000. With cashes dating back to 2004, August found himself getting his best WSOP result earlier this year in the $10,000 Seven Card Stud with a seventh place finish worth $46,484. With this bag, he looks to top that finish with eyes on securing his first WSOP bracelet.

Nick Guagenti comes into the day second in chips with 1,700,000 total. Guagenti won his bracelet in No-Limit Holdem, but he holds many titles and accolades in mixed-game formats like two PokerGO tour titles in eight-game and triple-draw formats. This marks his second H.O.R.S.E. cash of the summer and he looks to turn this one into a second bracelet.

Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Calvin Anderson (1,388,000) rounds out the top three. Two Poker Hall of Famers also bagged six figure stacks with Todd Brunson (1,285,000) and Barbara Enright (1,040,000). Those five lead the other 13 players in what will certainly be an action packed day of high-level mixed-game play.
