Big River Bet From Steinman Gets the Job Done

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Jose Carlos Brito raised to 50,000 from the button only to face a three-bet to 205,000 from Ian Steinman in the small blind. Brito called to see the flop come 3?10?3?.

Steinman led out with a bet of 165,000 and Brito thought briefly before putting in the call to see the Q? hit the turn.

Both players checked through to bring out the 8? river.

Steinman decided to lead again and announced a bet of 350,000 as he gathered the chips to push into the pot. Brito entered the tank and spent about two full minutes there, seemingly unwilling to let go of his hand.

Eventually, he did toss his cards into the muck and send the pot to Steinman without showdown.
