Morozovs Gets A River Fold

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Cole Ferraro raised to 25,000 from late position and got a call from Mihails Morozovs on the button. The big blind came along as well to see the 10?7?J? flop.

All three players checked through to see the A? hit the turn.

The big blind checked and Ferraro tossed out a bet of 40,000. Morozovs called and the big blind got out of the way to bring the 10? out on the river.

Ferraro bet out again, this time for 20,000, but Morozovs decided that wasn't enough as he used both hands to move 115,000 out into the middle.

Ferraro verified the amount and went into a short tank. After about 90 seconds, he slid his cards toward the muck and Morozovs collected the pot.

Lim Wins Titanic Tussle With Mao for a Million Chips

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

All of the chips went into the middle preflop with James Lim at risk for 525,000 in the cutoff against Renji Mao in the hijack.

James Lim: K?K?
Renji Mao: A?K?

Mao was behind with Big Slick as Lim had cowboys. The flop of J?9?3? was safe for Lim, but the A? gave Mao the lead with top pair.

It did, however, produce a flush draw for Lim, which he hit on the river when the 4? was tabled to secure a massive double up and Lim is now among the chip leaders.

Horiuchi Takes It All to Gottlieb

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Tom Gottlieb raised in the cutoff to 25,000 and faced a three-bet from Masato Horiuchi on the button to 63,000. Gottlieb decided to four-bet to 110,000 and after some thoughts, Horiuchi called.

When the 6? hit the river, Gottlieb checked again and faced a shove from Horiuchi, putting him at risk for his last 110,000.

Gottlieb went deep into the tank and eventually called with K?K?, only to see A?10? in Horiuchi's hands for a pair of aces and Gottlieb made his way to the exit.

Pros vs. Jones: One of These 3 Players is Hours Away From Poker Immortality

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
WSOP Main Event final three
WSOP Main Event final three

In the words of UFC ring announcer Bruce Buffer, who just so happens to be a poker enthusiast, "iiiittt's tiiiime!" Well, almost time (depending on when you're reading this) — 2 p.m. PT, to be exact — for the final day of the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. Three players will battle it out on the felt for a shot at $12.1 million and the world championship bracelet.

Steven Jones, Daniel Weinman, and Adam Walton, three Americans, will each be in for a grind tonight. Although Walton is technically the short stack with 165,500,000 chips, he'll begin play with over 80 big blinds and isn't far off Jones's lead (238,000,000), while the second place stack is even closer at 199,000,000. Barring a couple of coolers or some out-of-character play from these skilled individuals, strap in for a lengthy affair.

Bickley Pushes Zhang Out

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Theodore Bickley raised to 24,000 from under the gun and got one caller in middle position before Yang Zhang tossed in the call as well from the button to see the flop come A?8?6?.

Bickley and the middle position player checked over to Zhang who put out a bet of 23,000. Bickley called before the player in middle position folded leading to a 10? turn.

Both players checked through to see the 8? fall on the river.

Bickley paused briefly before he jammed for around 120,000. Zhang was not quick to release his cards, first sipping from his coffee then staring at Bickley as he worked through his decision.

Finally, with a shake of his head, he picked his cards up and tossed them toward the muck before the dealer pushed Bickley the pot.
