Warburton Takes it Down with a Premium
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Steve Warburton raised to 1,000 in the cutoff and Robin Scory defended the big blind.
The dealer spread a flop of 9?8?4? and Scory check-raised the bet of 1,000 to 3,000 and Warburton made the call.
As soon as Warburton's chips hit the felt, Scory announced a check-dark for the turn.
The 9? hit the turn, and Warburton fired 3,000. Scory called.
When the 10? completed the board, both players knuckled the table. Scory announced he had a three as he tabled, 7?3?.
Warburton responded with "No good" as he showed 8?4? for a pair of eights.
"In your face" he joked as he dragged the pot.
"I should have.... I don't know, I f*cked up."
