Mclaughlin Shows the Set

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Alexandre Servies raised 2,600 under the gun, and he was called by Mack Mclaughlin in the hijack, as well as the cutoff, and the big blind.

When the A?K?5? flop hit the felt, all four players quickly checked around.

The 2? fell on the turn, and once checked to, Mclaughlin pushed forward a stack of blacks with some yellow on top for a bet of 4,600. The cutoff and big blind folded and the action was back on Servies.

"How much is that?" Asked Servies.

"Don't be afraid, they are mostly ones." Responded Mclaughlin pointing at all of the 100 valued chips he pushed across.

Servies made the call and the 8? fell on the river. Servies checked to Mclaughlin who fired out two red chips, betting 10,000.

"I want to call, " explained Servies while in the tank.

"Go ahead."

"You turn over the most random stuff"

"I know, I am the youngest player here," said Mclaughlin with a chuckle, who clearly is not the youngest but implying he plays like the young guns.

Eventually, Servies pitched his cards into the muck and Mclaughlin tabled 2?2? for a set of deuces on the turn.
