Two Pair Takes it For Gold

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Jamie Gold was three-ways on a 2?9?J? flop. Gold checked from middle position to the player in the hijack, who bet 2,000. Only Gold called.

Gold check-called a 5,000 bet from his opponent on the 7? turn and then Gold led out for 3,000 when the 10? completed the board.

Gold's opponent called and Gold tabled 10?9? for a rivered two pair. His opponent mucked and Gold collected the pot.

Parisian and Wajehat Hit the River

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

The pot amounted to 1,600 when the action was caught. The flop read 2?10?A? and Tim Parisian led out for 400 chips into two other players. The player in the hijack called, as did Hamza Wajahat on the button.

The 3? turn was checked through before Parisian bet 1,500 on the K? river. The hijack folded but Wajahat made the call.

Parisian showed Q?J? for the rivered nuts and Wajahat sighed while he folded his K?J? face up.

"That's dirty," someone else at the table remarked.

Helppi Accidentally Slow Rolls the Slow Roll King

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Shaun Deeb and Juha Helppi were in a heads-up pot on a board of 8?10?J?4?3?.

Deeb bet 2,000 on the river and Helppi called. "I think you have me out-kicked," Deeb said before tabling Q?10?.

Helppi looked at his cards with disappointment as Deeb told him "you can't win every pot" and he tossed over A?J? without realizing it was the winning hand.

"You win," Deeb said as laughter broke out at the table.

"I thought you had a straight," said Helppi. "I promise it wasn't a slow roll, Shaun."

"I know, you aren't that creative," an annoyed Deeb replied. "Usually when I say 'you have me out-kicked' I don't have a straight."

"This maybe explains why I'm losing this series," laughed Helppi.

Gerhart Makes Tough Call

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Kevin Gerhart
Kevin Gerhart

Five players saw the flop of 8?6?5?, and a player bet out 1,000 before Kevin Gerhart raised to 3,000. There was a call behind him and the original bettor mucked his hand.

When the 2? landed on the turn Gerhart bet 7,500, which was called by his opponent.

The 7? completed the board on the river, and Gerhart continued for 10,000. His opponent moved all-in for 46,000, putting Gerhart in the tank for a couple of minutes.

Eventually, Gerhart made the call, and his opponent tabled 8?7? for two pair which was no good against Gerhart's 8?8?.
