Frank Doesn't Believe You

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Ashley Frank
Ashley Frank

A player in early position limped in for 300 and Ashley Frank made it 900 to go from middle position, getting the call from the original limper.

Frank bet out 500 after being checked to on a 8?J?6? flop and the player in early position made the call.

A similar instance on the turn 7?, but this time Frank bet 1,500 after getting the check, and once again, her opponent called.

The river 5? completed a number of flushes and straights and brought upon a change in tactics from Frank's opponent, who decided to lead out for 3,800, putting Frank to the test.

However, after some deliberation, Frank cut out some raising chips and put in a sizable one of 13,000, getting the snap fold from her opponent.

David Pham
David Pham

David Pham raised 800 in the cutoff and only the button made the call.

The 10?10?8? flop was checked through to see the 7? turn.

Pham led out for 3,600 and the button called.

When the 3? completed the board, Pham fired 7,900. The button sighed as he said, "Exactly what I put you on, the flush draw." And folded his hand.

Pham showed him the J? first and after a couple of seconds he tabled his second card which was the K?, showing the bluff.

Sotiropoulos Puts Screws to Opponent

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Georgios Sotiropoulos
Georgios Sotiropoulos

On a heads-up completed board of 5?5?4?5?7?, the early position player had led out for 6,800 but his opponent, Georgios Sotiropolous, did not think that was enough and raised it up to 24,500.

The early position player then went deep into the tank, until the point that the clock was called on him and he was given a 30-second countdown.

"I've built houses faster than this!" someone at the table was getting restless.

As his clock neared zero, he made the call but was then shown 7?7? by Sotiropolous for a big full house and he quickly mucked his hand.

Lim Wins Some Back

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Yohwan Lim was involved in a pot with Michael Trivett again. They were three-way to a flop of 9?8?4?, with a player in the hijack joining in as well.

With around 7,000 in the pot, Trivett checked from under the gun and the player in the hijack made it 3,000 to go. Lim called on the button and Trivett folded.

The Q? turn then was checked by both players before the hijack bet another 4,000 on the J? river. Lim threw in a T-25,000 chip in response and announced "twenty," for a raise to 20,000.

The hijack player mulled it over for a while before eventually settling on a fold.

Chechin Makes His Opponents Fold

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Michael Coombs opened from the hijack to 700,000 and was called twice: by Serge Chechin on the button and by Jason Darland in the big blind.

On the flop 7?Q?K?, Darland checked and let Coombs bet 1,200. It didn't scare Chechin or Darland, who called once again.

The 2? came on the turn. After Darland checked, Coombs didn't continue his aggression and checked too. Chechin took this opportunity to bet 3,500. Enough to make his opponents fold and to be back at the starting stack.

Lisandro Forces a Fold

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Jeff Lisandro was heads-up from early position against another player in late position on a 7?Q?8? flop. Lisandro check-called a 2,000 bet from his opponent.

The J? fell on the turn and Lisandro checked again. His opponent fired 6,300 into the middle and Lisandro tanked for a while before sliding 50,000 into the middle, which was enough to put his opponent all in.

After a bit of agonizing, he let his hand go and Lisandro collected the pot.

Quick Hands and Updated Counts

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Hand #1

There was a button open to 700. The small blind folded and Max Steinberg put in a three-bet to 3,200. The button called and they saw a flop of K?Q?8?. Steinberg led for 3,200 and the button folded. Steinberg chipped back up after a slow start.

Hand #2

The next hand there was an under the gun limp by Bruce Little and action folded all the way around to high stakes pro Brian Kim in the big blind. He checked and they saw a flop of A?3?4?. Kim check-folded to a bet of 1,000 from Little. He dragged the pot but Kim still holds the chip lead.

One Table Over

Martin Kabrhel was still talking about the pot he was dragging into his crippled stack. He is still short after some unorthodox play early in the day.
