Czeslaw Szerszen was telling the table a joke about a toothbrush when he got involved in a pot against an opponent on the button.

The board read 7?3?2?7? and the button bet 4,500. Szerszen called from under the gun as the 9? fell on the river.

Szerszen instantly tossed in 2,000 and his opponent called. Szerszen turned over 7?7?, revealing his turned quads, as he dragged in the pot.

"You should've told more jokes," tablemate Nick Vertucci told him.

"So what's the punchline," the dealer asked, but Szerszen was too busy stacking his new chips to continue the joke.
