Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The table recounted a hand played shortly before:

Alexandru Papazian raised 800 under the gun and Akira Hashimoto defended the big blind.

On the Qx10x2? flop, Hashimoto check-called a bet of 700.

The 3? hit the turn and Hashimoto check-called again, this time for 5,000.

The 4? completed the board and Hashimoto checked once again before Papazian fired another bullet of 20,000. Hashimoto made the call.

Papazian tabled A?Kx for ace-high which was no good against Hashimoto's Q?J?.

Papazian had 25,000 remaining after the hand, and busted shortly after.

Felipe De Paulo raised to 1,000 from early position. James Collopy called from middle position, Kathy Liebert from the small blind, and the big blind also put in calls.

De Paulo continued for 2,700 on a 9?6?7? flop, with Collopy calling, and Liebert and the big blind folding.

Both De Paulo and Collopy checked the K? turn, and then De Paulo fired the betting machine back up, putting in 4,500 on a queen river.

Collopy tanked for a while before finding the call. De Paulo turned over 7?6?, and Collopy mucked.

Landreth Turns Nuts In Multi-Way Pot

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Andrew Chen opened to 900 from under the gun and a player in middle position three-bet to 3,000. Johnny Landreth cold-called on the button and Chen came along as well.

On the flop of Q?8?5? Chen checked to the player in middle position who continued for 3,300. Both Landreth and Chen made the call and the trio saw the 9? turn.

Chen checked again and so did the player in middle position. Landreth tossed out 7,000 and both players made the call. The 10? completed the board and action checked to Landreth who slid out a small bet of 6,000. Chen folded and the middle position player shrugged before tossing in a chip for the call.

Landreth tabled J?10? for the turned nut-straight and scored the pot when his opponent mucked.
