"Don't Be Sorry, Queens Full"

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Action was picked up on the flop in a hand between a player in first position, Maurice Hawkins in early position and Forrest Raleigh in middle position.

All players checked the flop of 7?5?7? to the 10? turn where the under the gun player bet 7,500 which saw Hawkins raise to 16,000 which saw Raleigh fold after some thought. The under the gun player moved all in for 28,000 effective and Hawkins quickly called.

Opponent: J?8?
Maurice Hawkins: Q?Q?

The river peeled off the Q? and the under the gun player said "sorry man," believing he won the hand after making his flush on the river.

"Don't be sorry," Hawkins said, motioning to the board and his superior hand, "Queens full."

The other player realized he misread the board and shared a chuckle with the table before wishing the table luck as Hawkins stacked up the chips.

Walsworth called with K?5? for a flush draw, but he was already drawing dead as Wallace turned over J?J?. The river came the 8? and Wallace doubled up, leaving Walsworth on an extreme short stack.

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Steven Heron ripped his last 8,400 in the middle from under the gun and was called by both the cutoff and the small blind.

There was no side pot created as both players checked it down on the J?10?2?A?Q? run out.

Heron looked defeated as he tabled 8?8?, however, he was good when his opponents showed 6?6? and 5?5?. Heron leaped out of his chair with excitement as the hands were tabled and collected a triple-up.

Very Good Turnout for Lo

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

The under the gun player raised to 2,000 and it was called by the player next to him, Robert Lo, the hijack, the cutoff and the button. Amir Lehavot decided to squeeze in the big blind to 16,500 and it folded to Lo who shoved for 28,000. The rest of the players got out of the way and Lehavot quickly called:

Robert Lo: Q?Q?
Amir Lehavot: A?K?

It was a typical flip situation, and the board brought 8?6?6?6?8? to give the winning hand and the double up to Lo.

Lu Spikes Miracle River, Schroeder Exits

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

On a three-way flop of 3?9?5?, Yunye Lu checked to Artan Dedusha who bet 1,800 and then was raised to 10,000 by Donald Culberson.

Then Lu check-jammed for a full 50,000 and now the pressure was back on Dedusha, who went into the tank. After a good minute or so debating with himself, he tossed out two green chips worth 25,000 each to make the call.

Culberson, who had already committed a large portion of his stack in his initial raise, decided to lay it down and the cards were tabled with Lu at risk.

Yunye Lu: 3?5?
Artan Dedusha: A?10?

The turn came the 8? to give Dedusha the nut flush but the river came the 3? to give Lu a full house to scoop the entire pot. Meanwhile, Culberson was kicking himself as he admitted he folded pocket eights that would have given him a bigger boat.

The very next hand, short-stacked Benjamin Schroeder moved all in and was called by Lu to put him at risk.

Benjamin Schroeder: 9?9?
Yunye Lu: A?Q?

Schroeder was ahead going into this bout, but the flop of 4?A?K? put Lu in the lead with his ace and the turn A? all but locked it up. The 2? on the river sealed Schroeder's fate and he was eliminated from the tournament.
