Cucchiara Runs Into a Bigger Pair

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Frank Cucchiara, who gave away a Main Event seat to one of his social media followers, has himself entered the tournament here on Day 1d, but just dropped a pot to take an early hit.

Cucchiara and Anderson Huang went heads-up to the 6?Q?5? flop where Cucchiara checked, Huang fired out 2,600, and Cucchiara called.

Both players checked the A? turn as the Q? fell on the river. Cucchiara checked again.

"Okay," Huang said as he checked behind. Cucchiara turned over 9?9?, but Huang had 10?10? for the win.

"That was lucky," Huang said as he dragged in the pot.
