Yau Forces Hinkle Out on the Turn

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Ethan Yau
Ethan Yau

Ethan "Rampage" Yau opened to 2,200 in middle position and Mason Hinkle defended the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of J?9?4? and Hinkle led out for 4,000. Yau called.

The 7? landed on the turn and Hinkle checked it over to Yau, who dropped 12,000 across the line. Hinkle thought about it for only a few seconds and pitched his cards into the muck.

Sisler Somehow Survives

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Aiki Yoshida opened to 2,000 from the cutoff and then called after Scott Sisler three-bet to 12,000 out of the small blind.

Sisler moved all in for a little under 30,000 on the 5?3?Q? flop and Yoshida made the call with the covering stack to put his opponent at risk.

Scott Sisler: 7?7?
Aiki Yoshida: A?Q?

Yoshida had flopped well to leave Sisler's pocket pair drawing thin. The 9? turn changed nothing, leaving Sisler needing to find one of the two remaining sevens in the deck on the river. That is exactly what happened after the 7? completed the board to deliver a brutal beat to Yoshida while handing Sisler a full double.

Dwan Blasts the Turn on Dodd

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Tom Dwan
Tom Dwan

A player in the cutoff raised to 2,600 before the flop and Tom Dwan called on the button, as did big blind Owen Dodd.

The flop came 4?2?5? and action checked to Dwan, who fired out 4,500. Only Dodd called as he and Dwan went heads-up to the 9? turn.

Dodd checked again and Dwan tossed in 25,000, enough to put Dodd all in. Dodd gave it some thought before preserving his last chips for another hand.

"It was close," he told Dwan.

Okamoto Chips Up With Aggression

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Shiina Okamoto three-bet an open-raise from 2,200 to 8,000 and forced a fold.

One hand later, George Rahme made it 2,700 to go and earned one caller. Okamoto three-bet to 8,500 and Rahme was the only caller, who then checked the 8?7?6? flop. Okamoto moved all-in with the covering stack and Rahme folded.

Letal Shows Mizrachi a Set

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Mike Letal was heads-up from early position against Michael Mizrachi in the small blind on a 2?8?5? flop.

Mizrachi bet 9,800 and Letal called and then both players checked on the K? turn.

The river brought the 4? and Mizrachi fired 12,400 into the middle. Letal called and Mizrachi turned over 5?2? for two pair. It was no good, however, against the 8?8? of Letal for a set of eights and he was sent the sizable pot.

Easley Doubles Through Oluwole

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Seun Oluwole
Seun Oluwole

Down to just 8,200, Seneca Easley moved all-in from the button and Seun Oluwole gave him a spin from the big blind "because of the big hand we played together" after he had only peeled an ace face-up for everybody to see and didn't even check his other card.

Seneca Easley: K?10?
Seun Oluwole: A?10?

The K?6?2?8?4? board provided the double for Easley as he stuck around with a short stack.

Lin Scoops a Big One

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The button raised to 2,200, Timothy Lin in the big blind three-bet to 4,800 and the button four-bet to 11,000. Lin called.

On a flop of 2?2?Q?, Lin check-called a bet of 5,000 from his opponent.

The A? on the turn saw a repeat of the action, this time the button bet 15,000.

The river fell the 9? and Lin checked once again. The button moved all in putting Lin at risk for his effective stack of 43,300.

Lin spent some time in the tank before finally deciding to make the call.

Timothy Lin: A?Q?
Button: A?K?

Lin became the beneficiary of his opponent's value bet.
