Okamoto Takes From Oluwole

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Shiina Okamoto opened to 2,500 from the hijack and found one caller in Seun Oluwole in the big blind.

Both players checked on the 7?J?J? flop and J? turn; however, Okamoto bet 1,500 after being checked to a third time on the A? river. Oluwole looked her up and Okamoto tabled A?4? for jacks-full of aces.

Oluwole couldn't beat it and said, "Nice bet," after mucking.

Andy Wilson
Andy Wilson

Andy Wilson was on the big blind when the player in the cutoff raised to 2,000. Wilson made the call. The flop came out Q?3?6? and the cutoff placed a bet of 3,400 and Wilson called.

Both players checked the turn 8? and the board was starting to glitter.

The river 2? is where Wilson made his move and bet 5,000. The cutoff took a minute to decide and appeared as though he was going to raise but then threw in the red chip. Wilson showed Q?J? for top pair and the cutoff mucked.

Mclaughlin Shows the Set

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Alexandre Servies raised 2,600 under the gun, and he was called by Mack Mclaughlin in the hijack, as well as the cutoff, and the big blind.

When the A?K?5? flop hit the felt, all four players quickly checked around.

The 2? fell on the turn, and once checked to, Mclaughlin pushed forward a stack of blacks with some yellow on top for a bet of 4,600. The cutoff and big blind folded and the action was back on Servies.

"How much is that?" Asked Servies.

"Don't be afraid, they are mostly ones." Responded Mclaughlin pointing at all of the 100 valued chips he pushed across.

Servies made the call and the 8? fell on the river. Servies checked to Mclaughlin who fired out two red chips, betting 10,000.

"I want to call, " explained Servies while in the tank.

"Go ahead."

"You turn over the most random stuff"

"I know, I am the youngest player here," said Mclaughlin with a chuckle, who clearly is not the youngest but implying he plays like the young guns.

Eventually, Servies pitched his cards into the muck and Mclaughlin tabled 2?2? for a set of deuces on the turn.

Anderson Slows Down Rigby

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Francis Anderson three-bet to 10,000 in the cutoff and Nicholas Rigby called as the initial raiser. On the Q?J?3? flop, Rigby led and Anderson raised to 10,000 for Rigby to call.

That brought them to the 4? turn on which Rigby check-jammed for 73,600, as that's what Anderson had left behind. Anderson had bet 8,000 and called all-in with the A?Q?. Rigby had the K?10? for the open-ended straight draw but the river bricked as Anderson jumped to the rail in order to celebrate.

Estes Catches a Queen to Lighten The Field

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Michael Estes got into a preflop-raising war from under the gun against one other player in the hijack that resulted in them getting all in preflop. Estes had his opponent covered.

Hijack: A?A?
Michael Estes: Q?Q?

Estes had run into the preflop nuts and the 5?5?7? flop was of no help; however, the Q? turn vaulted Estes into the lead with a set of queens and the river bricked out to keep Estes in front — eliminating his opponent from contention.

Dwan Uses the "Dirty Diaper" to Crack Aces

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Tom Dwan
Tom Dwan

Tom Dwan was in early position and facing a bet of 8,000 on a flop of 3?8?5?. He called and the turn came the 3?.

Dwan again checked and his opponent, to Dwan's direct left, fired out another 20,000. Dwan looked over at him and paused for a moment before splashing in a raise.

His opponent quickly called all in for his last 60,000 and turned over A?A?. Dwan had 3?2? for trips and the all-in player leapt from his seat to await his fate.

The river came the J? and Dwan won the pot and earned the knockout to climb up near 200,000.
