Bruns Bets Big

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a heads-up completed board of 5?2?9?Q?J?, Bjorn Bruns fired out a bet of 28,000 into the already-swelled pot of 45,000.

Hutchison Blasts His Way to Break

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Dean Hutchison three-bet to 23,000 from middle position and an opponent in early position called.

The flop came 3?9?3? and Hutchison continued for 16,000. His opponent called and the 10? fell on the turn.

The early-position player checked again, and Hutchison fired out 60,000. His opponents' cards instantly hit muck as Hutchison dragged in the pot.

Tablemate Sergio Torres asked to have a picture of him posing in front of his big stack before they went off on break. Vadim Rozin, who made a run to 12th place last year, is also at this table but coming back to a short stack.
