Dambrouski Coolers Botfeld with Set over Set

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river with players heads up and hole cards already on their backs. Amanda Botfeld had tabled 4?4? for a flopped set on a board of Q?4?6?3?10? but Yahor Dambrouski had flopped a higher set with Q?Q? to take down a pot worth well over two million while also making a major dent in Botfeld's stack.

Chiu Needs Some Time

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Charlie Chiu
Charlie Chiu

Michael Duek raised from the hijack for 40,000 and Charlie Chiu was the only one to make the call from the big blind. The flop fanned out 9?8?10? and Chiu check-raised a 40,000 continuation bet from Duek to 150,000. Duek put in the extra chips and the pair saw the J? turn being dealt.

Chiu reverted to a check and Duek took the opportunity to bet for 300,000 chips. Chiu called, and the 2? river rolled off.

Chiu checked again, and Duek doubled his bet to 600,000. This sent Chiu into a tank that lasted several minutes, apologizing to his tablemates a few times while he thought things over.

Eventually, he settled on a fold, granting the pot to Duek. "It's really, really close," Chiu concluded.

On the first hand, the board showed Q?7?J?10? when Masato Yokosawa checked and decoded to call a bet worth 340,000 from Chance Kornuth seated on the button.

The 9? landed on the river and they both checked. Kornuth tabled A?8? for the straight and Yokosawa mucked his cards.

Set Over Set Situation

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The action was picked up in a large pot of just over 200,000 on a board showing J?10?6?2?. Aditya Systla bet out 130,000 from middle position, and Jessica Vierling in the hijack, cut out a raise to 350,000. Systla quickly called, and the pair saw the 9? river.

Systla checked over to Vierling, who took a moment before sliding out a bet of 500,000. Systla contemplated his decision, but after about 30 seconds, made the call and the hands were shown.

Vierling tabled 9?9? for a rivered set but was no good when Systla revealed 10?10? for the flopped bigger set to take down the massive pot.

Vela Gets A Fold From Parys

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

After an open to 40,000 by the player under the gun, Maxime Parys called on the button, and so did Pol Vela in the small blind.

On a flop reading A?2?3?, the player under the gun made a continuation bet of 40,000. But it wasn't enough for Parys, who raised to 110,000.

What the Frenchman didn't expect was that Vela decided to reraise all in for 430,000. The under-the-gun player immediately folded, but Parys went deep into the tank.

He asked for the count and looked really unhappy about Vela's move. But in the end, Parys chose the wisest option and folded.
