Li Jams Into Rigby; Pentefountas Vanishes

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In a three-bet pot over on the side feature table, Nicholas Rigby had the A?Q? in the big blind showing while initial raiser Gabi Livshitz had folded the A?J? preflop. Henry Li had checked behind the J?4?2?b flop and 8? turn with only the A? showing.

Rigby bet the 6? river for 365,000 and Li reluctantly jammed to force out Rigby.

Moments later, the cameras switched to the other side event feature. Ioannis Pentefountas was flipping with K?Q? versus J?J? and failed to connect with the A?7?6?3?5? board to bow out in the final level of the night.

Hulme Doubles Through Brown in Massive Preflop Battle

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Ryan Brown raised to 45,000 in early position and Ludovic Geilich flat-called on the button. Andrew Hulme three-bet to 235,000 from the big blind and Brown clicked it back to 580,000. Geilich stepped aside, and Hulme five-bet jammed all in for 1,345,000. Brown asked for a count and then called.

Andrew Hulme: A?A?
Ryan Brown: A?Q?

The flop came Q?6?4?, and Brown picked up a queen to make things sweaty. The 9? and K? runout bricked out, and Hulme held on for a big double up.

Berrio Takes from Koon

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Mikael Berrio started the action with a raise to 40,000 and got called by the hijack, followed by Jason Koon in the small blind, and the big blind came along for the ride, too.

The flop fell 4?8?7?, and it checked to the hijack, who bet 55,000. Koon and Berrio called.

The trio checked on the K? turn, and the 10? landed on the river. Koon checked to Berrio, who bet 80,000. The hijack folded, but after some thinking, Koon called.

Berrio flipped over J?J?, and Koon sent his cards into the muck.

Deng Puts Waysei in the Bin

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Clemen Deng opened 45,000 under the gun and Koveh Waysei called on the button.

The dealer fanned a flop of Q?8?5?, and Deng continued for 105,000. Waysei called.

The 7? turn was checked through to see the 6? river.

Deng fired a bet of 50,000 before Waysei raised to 200,000. Deng wasn't scared though as he put in a three-bet to 1,100,000. Waysei went into the tank for four minutes before a floor was called for the clock. The floor counted down from 30 seconds and declared his hand dead, sending the pot to Deng.

Evans Wins Massive Flip Against Moneymaker

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The PokerNews team was called over to a table when Daniel Evans was all in preflop for just over 1,100,000 and called by the bigger stack of Chris Moneymaker.

Daniel Evans: Q?Q?
Chris Moneymaker: A?K?

It was the classic tournament race situation, but when the board ran out Q?6?4?4?9?, it was the queens for Evans that improved to a full house to score the massive double up and leave Moneymaker with roughly 30 big blinds.

Payne Flops a Set; Is Denied a Full Double

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Jason Somerville opened to 70,000 out of the small blind with the A?J? and Joshua Payne called with the 5?5? in the big blind. Somerville bet his top pair on the A?Q?5? flop for 75,000 to receive a call and the 6? followed on the turn.

Somerville slowed down and checked as Payne bet 200,000 with 405,000 behind. The call by Somerville led them to the 3? river on which he checked once more. Payne bet 385,000 with one big blind behind.

Deep in the tank, Somerville eventually folded to avoid further damage to his stack.

Jonathan Dimmig had previously been eliminated from the table and was replaced by Chris Brewer.
