Nakanishi check-called a continuation of 100,000 from Petleshkov on the A?K?4? flop to send the action to the turn.

Both players checked through the J? turn to the 8? river at which point Nakanishi moved all in for 550,000, representing a pot sized bet. That sent Petleshkov into the tank as he spent around a minute contemplating his decision. Eventually he found a call with A?10? and was rewarded with the pot and elimination after Nakanishi could only turn over a bluff.

Bill Klein opened to 55,000 from late position and was called by Stuart Taylor in the cutoff as well as Nicholas Rigby on the button. Ryan Brown then moved all in for 1,200,000 out of the small blind, getting calls from Klein with the covering stack as well as Taylor. Rigby, meanwhile, got out of the way.

Taylor, though the effective stack, was in a good spot to get a crucial triple up, that is until the flop came 8?3?K?, vaulting Klein into the lead. Three players headed to a flop in a three-bet pot which contained a little over 500,000 in the middle already. The flop came 10?10?2? and the action checked to Scott Berko on the button who bet 215,000. Thomas Larson check-raised to 445,000 and Berko ripped all in. Larson went into the tank for over three minutes with just 900,000 behind and then finally called.

"I knew you had spades!" Larson shouted as he rose from his chair. "Come on baby, hold one time!" Larson crossed his fingers and held them to his lips.
