Nikita Luther

John Racener opened in early position and the button called before Nikita Luther also called in the big blind.

The flop of 10?K?Q? checked through and Luther checked again on the 2? turn. Racener bet 140,000 and the button folded before Luther check-raised to 420,000. Racener sat still with a cap covering his eyes and called.

"What a Joke"

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Jason Liu
Jason Liu

Richard Ryder raised 80,000 in the cutoff and Harsheel Kothari called in the small blind before Jason Liu three-bet 240,000 from the big blind. Ryder called, and Kothari made the fold.

The flop of 10?8?4? received checks from both players and the 2? hit the turn.

Liu led out for 310,000 and Ryder made the call.

When the A? landed on the river, Liu took a moment before cutting out a bet of 600,000. Ryder instantly announced a call while tabling 10?10? for a set of tens on the flop. Liu rolled over his A?A?, rivering the highest set and Ryder exploded out of his chair and walked about 10 feet away. A tablemate peeled the 600,000 off his stack for the dealer to reach and sent it to Liu.

After a few seconds, Ryder came back and said, "What a joke. What an absolute joke."

Yokosawa Loses a Pot; Remains Big Stack

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Masato Yokosawa
Masato Yokosawa

According to French poker media, Masato Yokosawa soared near the top of the leaderboard a few minutes ago when he knocked out Clay Johnson in a four-bet pot when the latter called a shove on the 7?6?2?3? turn with pocket nines. Yokosawa had pocket aces and held on the Q? river.

Yokosawa put the new found chips to use with a raise to 85,000 in the cutoff and Robert French defended the big blind. French check-called the A?10?3? flop for 55,000 and the 4? turn for 165,000.

French also checked the J? river and Yokosawa bet 400,000. The check-shove by French followed and Yokosawa instantly folded.

"He is human!" Christopher Kimmel in the nine seat exclaimed.

Next Gen's Frankie Will Have to Wait for Next Year to Win Main Event

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Frank Cucchiara
Frank Cucchiara

Frank Cucchiara of Next Gen Poker was in the big blind in a heads-up pot against Keanu Tabali on a board of 8?7?A?Q?.

Cucchiara checked on the turn and his opponent bet 215,000. With his phone filming the action, the content creator jammed for his last 300,000 or so. Despite getting an excellent price, Tabali did not immediately call. After about thirty seconds, he did call.

Frank Cucchiara: 10?7?
Keanu Tabali: A?A?

Cucchiara had just a pair of tens to be drawing dead against the top set of Tabali as the 10? river confirmed the elimination of "Frankie."

Peppin Celebrates Before It's Over

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Stephen Peppin was down to around 10 big blinds and shoved all in from middle position. Nathan Paytas was next to act and asked for a count before making the call. The rest of the table folded and the two hands were face up.

Stephen Peppin: Q?Q?
Nathan Paytas: K?K?

Not only did Paytas have the better of the two pairs, but he also had both of the suits covered. The flop came J?10?4? and Paytas was still in the lead. The Q? rolled off on the turn and Peppin clapped his hands to celebrate his set of queens. However, the A? hit the river and Paytas made a straight to eliminate Peppin.
