Li Shows Aces

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Joshua Payne opened to 100,000 from early position and Pei Li three-bet to 285,000 from the next seat.

Payne sized up Li's stack and asked how much he was playing before throwing his cards to the muck. It was the right move as Li showed the tabled A?A?.

"I almost shoved," said Payne. "I had king-queen."

Kothari Hits the Turn to Send Out Zhang

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Heng Zhang was already all in as Harsheel Kothari and Rodrigo Motoki went to the turn with around 500,000 in the middle.

Motoki checked on the K?6?8?10? board, then folded when Kothari fired out 400,000 on the button. Zhang turned over K?Q?, but Kothari had K?10? for two pair on the turn to take the lead.

The river came the 8? and Zhang was sent to the rail.

Two Jams Without a Call

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

On a heads-up river of Q?8?7?5?6?, Eric Schneider pushed all-in for 885,000 against Alexander Villa. The latter tanked for a while and folded.

In the next hand, Nick Marchington pushed for the 390,000 he had left on the button. Schneider folded reluctantly from the small blind and Maurice Hawkins also gave it some thought before folding.

"If I double you, I know I got a problem," Hawkins had declared while mulling it over.

Nguyen Doubles Through Brown

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Picking up the action on a flop of 10?7?6?, Huy Nguyen from late position was all in and at risk against Michael Brown in the big blind.

Huy Nguyen: K?Q?
Michael Brown: A?7?

Brown was ahead with his pair but Nguyen had plenty of outs with two overs and a flush draw. The 7? turn left Nguyen needing to find a diamond on the river and that he did after the 9? rolled off the deck to hand the at risk player a full double.

Muller Keeps Ramsden's Bad Day Going

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Curtis Muller open-shipped all in for 720,000 in early position and the action folded around to Jacque Ramsden in the big blind who quickly made the call.

Curtis Muller: A?8?
Jacque Ramsden: Q?Q?

The flop came 7?6?3? and Muller picked up a flush draw. The 4? peeled off on the turn to give Muller his flush and the 2? was insignificant on the river.

"Been happening all day," Ramsden said who was left with just 10,000 chips. "What a needle too," he continued, referring to the fact he was all in next hand from the small blind.

Aguilera Unhappy With Tablemate

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Raj Vohra opened to 110,000 from early position and the player on his direct left called. Jose Aguilera made it 440,000 from the button which prompted Vogra to four-bet to 1,150,000.

Aguilera went into the tank and after a minute, the player who "called-folded" asked the dealer to start the clock.

This upset Aguilera as he felt not enough time had passed. The floor came to the table and gave Aguilera an additional 30 seconds before the clock started. Aguilera released his hand before that the countdown began.

Aguilera and his tablemate then got into it, and were verbally jousting for quite some time after the hand finished.

Rigby Finds a Double

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Nicholas Rigby opened to 225,000 from middle position and then called after Ryan Brown three-bet to 625,000 from late position.

Rigby checked on the 5?Q?3? flop. Brown decided to put his opponent all in and Rigby, with a "well guys if this is it it's been a hell of a run" to his rail made the call for his tournament life.

Nicholas Rigby: A?Q?
Ryan Brown: A?J?

Rigby held a commanding lead but the 10? turn did give Brown a gutshot. It did not come in, however, on the 4? river as Rigby raked in the chips in his quest to rebuild the big stack he had earlier in the day.

Three-Way All In Results in No Eliminations

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Nathan Paytas was all in for 215,000 from under the gun and was called by Joey Spanne from the button. Brian Davis committed the last of his 385,000 stack from the small blind and Spanne called.

Nathan Paytas: 2?2?
Brian Davis: K?Q?
Joey Spanne: A?Q?

Paytas was delighted that he was ahead and his opponents couldn't connect on the 4?6?3?7?10? runout for him to take the main pot. Davis lost a small amount of chips as he took the side pot.
