Ryder Has the Nuts

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Patrick Tardif
Patrick Tardif

Patrick Tardif opened to 210,000 from the hijack and Richard Ryder called on his direct left. Andrey Pateychuk also called from the big blind.

Tardif continued for 230,000 on the 8?4?3? flop before Ryder raised to 650,000. Pateychuk got out of the way but Tardif stuck around.

Tardif check-called for 350,000 on the A? turn, and then came the 6? river. Tardif opted to lead out for 1,000,000 and was met with a raise to 2,200,000. Tardif couldn't believe the spot that put him in and removed his cap briefly while thinking over his options.

The frustration seemed to be setting in as Tardif called.

Ryder had flatted preflop with K?K? and he had the nut-flush. Tardif mucked his hand and Ryder chipped up.

Aguilera Cracks Torelli's Aces for a Double Up

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Jose Aguilera raised to 200,000 from under the gun and was called by Steven Spunt on the button. Alec Torelli reraised to 650,000 from the small blind and both Aguilera and Spunt called.

The flop came 9?7?5? and the action checked around to the 10? on the turn. Torelli led out with a bet of 900,000 on the turn and Aguilera moved all in for 2,780,000. Spunt quickly folded and Torelli slid out some chips to call.

Jose Aguilera: 10?10?
Alec Torelli: A?A?

Torelli's aces had been cracked by Aguilera's tens after a ten rolled off on the turn. The river was the 5? and Aguilera was ensured a double-up.

Fishbein Gets Paid From Spanne

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

The action was picked up in a heads-up pot of just over 600,000 on a flop showing A?K?9?. Joey Spanne checked from the big blind to Glenn Fishbein under the gun who bet out 200,000. Spanne made the call and the 9? hit the turn.

Spanne checked again and Fishbein tapped the table to check back. The 8? completed the board and Spanne checked a third time. Fishbein tossed out a bet of 300,000 and Spanne went deep in the tank. After close to a minute, Spanne shrugged and flicked in the chips for a call.

Fishbein tabled A?Q? for a pair of aces and took down the pot when Spanne mucked his hand.

Bengozi Falls to Liu

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Vitor Bengozi moved all in for his last 1,330,000 from middle position before Ping Liu re-jammed on the button. The blinds got out of the way to put Bengozi officially at risk.

Vitor Bengozi: 9?9?
Ping Liu: J?J?

Bengozi was in rough shape and found no help on the 2?4?10? flop. The J? turn ended things abruptly prior to the inconsequential Q? river to bring Bengozi's deep run to a close.

Nikita Luther
Nikita Luther

Nikita Luther was all in for her last 2,285,000 in the small blind and up against Andrew Hulme in middle position.

Nikita Luther: A?K?
Andrew Hulme: A?Q?

Luther had Hulme dominated and was a favorite to double up as the flop came 5?5?2?. The turn, though, brought the Q? and Hulme came from behind to leave Luther a card away from elimination.

The 9? fell on the river and Luther was sent to the rail, leaving Estelle Cohuet as the last woman remaining.

Tamanini Puts in a Massive River Shove

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Zachary Hall raised to 215,000 from middle position before Ryan Tamanini three-bet on the button to 600,000. Hall then made it 1,450,000 and Tamamini called.

The flop came K?7?Q? and Hall continued for 850,000. Tamanini called again to the Q? turn, where both players checked.

The river came the 8? and Hall bet 3,100,000. Tamanini responded by moving all in for 10,000,000 as he lowered his head and Hall began tanking.

"Wow," Hall said as he considered the decision for several minutes. He eventually folded, claiming to have ace-king, and Tamanini took down the massive pot without a showdown.

Boghean Takes Pot After Lengthy Count

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Obregon checked on the A? river and Boghean took several minutes to count of stacks of 20 to organize a bet.

"This is why you stack them better — makes it easier to play," Obregon said. "You can announce it if you want. Make it easier for us."

Boghean wasn't bothered and continued to slowly count out a bet. Eventually, he pushed out 3,500,000 worth of chips as Obregon folded a ten face-up.

"You couldn've just announced it," Obregon repeated.
