Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Richard Ryder raised it up from middle position and was called by Andrey Pateychuk on the button. The flop came A?3?2? and Ryder check-called a bet of 200,000 from Pateychuk.

The turn brought the K? and Ryder checked again. Pateychuk sized up a bet of 650,000 on the turn and Ryder still called. The river was the 7? and Ryder checked for the third time. Pateychuk splashed in a bet of 2,200,000 and Ryder looked him up. Pateychuk tabled Q?9? for a backdoor flush and Ryder mucked his cards.

Anirban Das
Anirban Das

Anirban Das opened to 240,000 in middle position and Juan Maceiras Lapido defended out of the big blind.

Lapido checked on the flop of Q?10?Q? and Das checked back. Lapido then bet 400,000 on the 3? turn and Das called.

The 6? river completed the board and Lapido threw out a bet of 1,600,000 that included three 500,000-chips. Das responded by pushing out two stacks of 100,000-chips for a raise to 4,000,000.

Lapido snap-folded and Das kept him guessing by revealing the A?.

Jachtmann Puts Berko In the Tank, on the Clock

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Jan-Peter Jachtmann
Jan-Peter Jachtmann

The action was picked up in a pot of roughly 2,000,000 on a flop showing K?10?8?. Scott Berko fired for 500,000 from the small blind and Jan-Peter Jachtmann slid out a raise to 2,000,000.

"I'm going to be awhile guys," Berko said as he crawled deep into the tank. After close to four minutes, Jachtmann called the clock on Berko, who then had 30 seconds to act.

As the clock ticked down, Berko made the fold with a few seconds left and Jachtmann scooped the large pot to bring his stack over 10 million.

Things got heated at the table between Jachtmann and Berko, who continued to argue after the hand about when a reasonable amount of time is to call the clock.

Kothari Folds QUEENS

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Harsheel Kothari
Harsheel Kothari

Harsheel Kothari opened to 300,000 from the hijack. Action folded to Mitchell Halverson in the small blind, who raised to 2,000,000, leaving 560,000 behind.

Kothari was immediately pained and began counting out his stack. He narrowly covered Halverson and continued to mull over his options for a few minutes.

Kothari asked Halverson if he would show and received no reply.

"This would be a sick fold," Kothari said. "Nothing will compare."

In the end, he returned his cards to the dealer.

Halverson asked if he had a big hand and Kothari said he did. The pair agreed to both show their holdings.

Kothari turned over Q?Q? for pocket queens while Halverson got away with one as he was behind with A?J?.

"Love that fold bro," remarked Halverson while scooping in the pot.

The table joked that the ace was coming anyway so Kothari did himself a favor.

Silver Makes the Right Call on Friedrich

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Tony Dunst raised to 250,000 from under the gun and Nate Silver called in the cutoff. Stephen Friedrich then shoved all in for 1,990,000 from the button and Dunst folded.

Silver spent several minutes agonizing over the call before he put in the chips.

Stephen Friedrich: A?10?
Nate Silver: A?J?

"Good luck. Actually, not good luck," Silver joked as the two opponents stood up and shook hands prior to the 9?8?Q? flop. The board ran out 4?6? and Friedrich was sent to the rail.

"Now I got to go back to work. Engineering's tough," Friedrich said on his way to collect his payout.

Yepez Hits the Rail

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

The action folded around to Luis Yepez on the button who moved all in for just over 400,000 and Glenn Fishbein quickly called in the big blind to put Yepez at risk.

Luis Yepez: Q?10?
Glenn Fishbein: A?5?

Yepez was slightly behind, and when the board ran out K?K?J?2?8?, Fishbein's ace-high was still good to send Yepez to the exit as he received a round of applause from the rail.
