Level 34 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Joe Ghio
Joe Ghio

Joe Ghio raised to 1,200,000 from the hijack and Ruslan Prydryk called in the big blind.

The flop came Q?8?9? and Prydryk checked over to Ghio and he bet another 1,000,000. Prydryk came back with a raise to 3,500,000 and Ghio called.

Prydryk led out for 7,500,000 on the K? turn and Ghio then moved all in for 11,100,000. Prydryk snap-called with 9?8? for two pair, but Ghio had turned a straight holding J?10?.

The Q? on the river was safe for Ghio and he doubled up off the previously unbeatable Prydryk.

Walton Wins Big Pot Off Jones

Level 34 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Steven Jones limped the small blind and called a raise to 1,125,000 by Adam Walton, which led them to the A?Q?4? flop. Jones opted to check-call for 1,050,000 and did so again for 2,200,000 on the J? turn.

Jones then bet the Q? river for 5,500,000 and had barely announced the bet when Walton already beat him into the pot.

Jones tabled his Q?3? and Walton had that beat with the K?10? for broadway.

Andrey Pateychuk then raised to 1,000,000 and Daniel Holzner defended his big blind, but check-folded the Q?J?J? flop to a continuation bet.

Jones opened to 1,000,000 soon after and Anirban Das three-bet to 3,250,000 on the button. The call by Jones followed which led them to the A?8?5? flop. Jones checked, Das bet 1,600,000 and that ended the resistance of Jones right there.

Cong Pham: A?10?
Jan-Peter Jachtmann: A?5?

Jones Wins Healthy Pot Off Das

Level 34 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Steven Jones
Steven Jones

Steven Jones made it 1,000,000 to go from the hijack and Ryan Tamanini called in the big blind, then check-folded the A?Q?2? flop to a bet worth 800,000.

One hand later, Jones raised to 1,100,000 first to act for Adam Walton in the hijack and Anirban Das in the cutoff to call. Jones continued for 2,000,000 on the K?7?3? flop. Walton took a sip from his coffee and then opted to fold while Das quickly called.

Another bet by Jones came on the 4? turn, this time for 4,500,000, and Das called once more.

Last but not least, Jones bet the 3? river for 8,000,000 and Das took around one minute to call. Jones tabled his A?K? for kings and treys with the ace kicker and that won the pot, as he vaulted out of his chair to flex his muscles to friends on the rail.

Prydryk Gets Back to Winning Ways

Level 34 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

The double up of Joe Ghio proved to be only a short-lived hiatus in Ruslan Prydryk's relentless accumulation of chips.

Prydryk raised to 1,000,000 from the cutoff and Dean Hutchison called on the button. The flop came 4?Q?10? and Prydryk continued for 1,500,000.

Hutchison called to the 6? turn where Prydryk fired out another 2,000,000. Hutchison folded this time and Prydryk raked in the pot.

But that was only a small pot compared to the next one Prydryk played, this time against Joshua Payne. Prydryk again raised to 1,000,000 and Payne defended his big blind.

The flop came K?J?Q? and Prydryk bet 1,000,000 again. Payne called and checked the 7? turn before Prydryk tossed out 3,500,000.

Payne called again to the 2? river, where he faced a bet of 5,500,000. Payne gave it some thought before calling as Prydryk showed J?J? for a flopped set to take another pot.

Torelli led out with a bet of 1,600,000 and Hulme quickly dumped his cards to the muck.

On the next hand, Hulme limped in from the small blind and Toby Lewis checked his option. The flop fell A?Q?4? and Hulme led out with a bet of 500,000 which got Lewis to fold.
